Legally Wed

Legally Wed is a basic legal wedding ceremony which will be offered in Bolton, once a month, very much like a city hall wedding ceremony within Caledon where no such service is currently being offered. While you can still currently book Kelley to do just a legal ceremony for you, these will be offered on a regular basis once a month. Whether you are planning a destination wedding and want to get the legalities over before you go, or you want a friend to perform the ceremony the day of your big event, or maybe this relationship has always been a secret and you are looking to surprise everyone, whatever the reason, we are here for you. If a simple ceremony is all that is desired, Kelley is a professional wedding officiant that has married over 250 couples and looks forward to helping you begin this next chapter of your life.

What can I expect with this service? You will have a simple yet professional, legally binding wedding service performed for you and your fiancé at Kelley’s Victorian home in historic downtown Bolton.

Can my friends and family attend? You can invite up to eight other people to attend.

Can I have a friend take pictures? As long as they are included in the eight, absolutely.

Can I have someone film the ceremony? As mentioned above, as long as they are included in the count of eight, yes.

Time slots are for a total of 40 minutes which will begin for the time booked as other ceremonies will be booked around your time also. You will be required to bring a valid wedding license and provide proof of identity before the ceremony begins. Two witnesses over the age of 18 are required, if you do not have two witnesses, let us know and we will arrange to have some present. In order to book this service, a $75 non-refundable fee will be required to hold your spot. Once the deposit is paid, you will receive confirmation of your date and time. The balance owing ($200) will be due at the time of the ceremony.
